The bill establishes an investigations and inspections account for the Commissioner of Administrative Services to fund investigations and inspections. It creates an Examining Board for Crane Operators within the Department of Administrative Services, consisting of seven members appointed by the Governor. The board can suspend or revoke licenses and impose civil penalties for violations. The bill also allows the Commissioner to issue stop work orders for violations and mandates that the board cannot renew licenses for those with unpaid civil penalties.
