Connecticut HB05376 establishes a working group to study the need for and viability of creating a streamlined state court appeals process for individuals aggrieved by decisions of historic district commissions. The group will submit a report by January 1, 2027, and may also recommend allowing commissions to deny or return certain affordable housing applications. The working group consists of members appointed by legislative leaders and is supported by the administrative staff of the joint standing committee on insurance and real estate.
