HB05355

Connecticut HB05355 establishes new pricing standards for fuel vendors in the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program.

Connecticut HB05355 amends the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program by requiring the Commissioner of Social Services to establish regional pricing standards for deliverable fuel. The bill also mandates reimbursement to fuel providers based on publicly posted prices and allows vendors to electronically submit invoices for payment. This change aims to ensure an adequate supply of fuel vendors for low-income households participating in the program.
