Connecticut HB05345 mandates additional notices for state employee health insurance coverage terminations and suspensions.

Connecticut HB05345 requires the Comptroller, legislative leaders, and the Health Care Cost Containment Committee to receive notices about the termination or expiration of participating provider agreements in state employee health insurance plans. These notices must be sent at least 90, 60, and 30 days before the termination or expiration. The Comptroller can suspend or cease the competitive selection process for new agreements if the required notices are not provided.
