Establishes a working group to study consumer fraud and protections against such fraud.

Connecticut HB05315 establishes a working group to study consumer fraud and protections against such fraud. The working group will be convened by the chairpersons of the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to banking. The group will include representatives from financial institutions, credit unions, consumer organizations, and the Banking Commissioner. The working group will submit a report on its findings and recommendations by January 1, 2027.
