Increases the membership and compensation of the State Properties Review Board.
The bill increases the membership of the State Properties Review Board from six to eight members. It also raises the compensation for the board's chairperson and other members. The speaker of the House and the president pro tempore of the Senate will jointly appoint three members, while the minority leaders of the House and Senate will jointly appoint three members. Compensation for the chairperson is set at $300 per diem, up to a maximum of $45,000 annually, and $300 per diem, up to a maximum of $40,000 annually, for other members. The board members will choose their own chairperson.
