Connecticut HB05213 creates a working group to study payroll processing methods and the time required for payroll checks to clear at financial institutions. The group includes representatives from the General Assembly, the Banking Commissioner, a bank, and a credit union. The working group will report its findings and recommendations to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to banking. The group will terminate upon submitting its report or January 1, 2027, whichever is later.
