HB05167

Connecticut HB05167 allows disclosure of private and semipublic well water quality test results to specific individuals without requiring approval.

Connecticut HB05167 modifies the disclosure requirements for water quality test results of private and semipublic wells. It mandates that laboratories or firms conducting such tests must report results to the local health authority and the Department of Public Health within 30 days. The bill permits the local health authority and the Department of Public Health to disclose these results to the property owner, without needing approval from the Commissioner of Public Health. The information remains confidential, except for these disclosures.
