The bill amends the bond authorization for the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority to provide a grant-in-aid for the Department of Housing. This grant will fund sections 8-265cc to 8-265ii and section 8-265kk of the general statutes, and will also capitalize down payment assistance under the homeownership loan program established by sections 8-283 to 8-289 of the general statutes. The total amount authorized for this purpose is not to exceed $38,000,000. The changes will take effect on July 1, 2026.
