Defines abortion and restricts its practice in Wyoming, except in specific circumstances.
This bill defines abortion as the termination of a pregnancy with the intent to cause the death of an unborn baby. It restricts abortion except in cases where it is necessary to save the life of the pregnant woman, to remove a dead unborn baby, to treat an ectopic pregnancy, or to treat a pregnant woman for cancer or another disease that may be fatal or harmful to the unborn baby. The act also includes exceptions for pregnancies resulting from incest or sexual assault, and for pregnancies with lethal fetal anomalies or molar pregnancies.
