This bill repeals bed expansion limitations for nursing care facilities and hospitals in Wyoming. It authorizes the Department of Health to approve alterations or additions to health care facilities for health care and life safety compliance determinations only. The bill requires the Department of Health to report on the status of construction of nursing care facilities and the effects on hospitals and nursing care facilities by September 1, 2029. The act becomes effective July 1, 2025.
