Allows fencing on state lands and specifies cost-sharing for construction and maintenance.
This bill allows the construction of lawful partition fences along state lands in Wyoming. It mandates that the lessee of the state lands, if leased, or the Office of State Lands and Investments, if unleased, shall pay for half the cost of constructing the fence. Private landowners adjoining the state lands must also contribute to the cost of fence maintenance proportional to their respective interests in the fence. The Board of Land Commissioners is required to create rules to implement this act.
