Establishes absconding for criminal purposes as a criminal offense in Wyoming.

The bill creates the criminal offense of absconding for criminal purposes in Wyoming. It specifies that a person is guilty of this offense if they travel from one county to another within Wyoming or to another jurisdiction outside Wyoming with the intent to evade law enforcement, commit additional crimes, or dispose of or conceal proceeds or property obtained from a crime. The penalty for this offense is the same as the penalty for the most serious crime committed, intended to be committed, or furthered as a result of the absconding. The act is effective July 1, 2026.
