Encourages Wyoming to enshrine Patrolman Michael A. Rosa's name on the Wyoming Law Enforcement Fallen Officer Memorial.
The Wyoming Legislature encourages the Wyoming Peace Officer Memorial Committee to add Patrolman Michael A. Rosa's name to the Wyoming Law Enforcement Fallen Officer Memorial. Rosa, a Rock Springs Police Department officer and Vietnam War veteran, was killed in the line of duty in 1978. Despite his name being included on the national memorial and the Officer Down Memorial Page, it has not appeared on the Wyoming memorial. The resolution highlights Rosa's service and the need for his name to be recognized among other fallen officers.
