This bill attaches bear coupons to resident elk licenses issued for 2026 and 2027 in hunt areas outside the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem Recovery Zone. It requires the Wyoming Game and Fish Commission to notify the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service of bear kills and provide evidence of grizzly bear population recovery. The commission must adopt rules to implement these changes by January 1, 2026. The bill also restricts future hunting licenses for those who violated moose or bighorn sheep license restrictions before July 1, 2022.
