Allows school districts and charter schools to employ uncertified personnel with background checks.

The bill allows school districts and charter schools to adopt policies to employ administrators, teachers, and other personnel without a certificate or permit from the Wyoming professional teaching standards board. It requires applicants to be at least 18 years old and submit to a criminal history background check. The bill also authorizes school districts and charter schools to obtain criminal histories and request fingerprinting for these applicants. The changes become effective July 1, 2025.
