Establishes a voter threshold for bond elections held on days other than general elections in Wyoming.
Wyoming HB0079 amends the state's election laws to require a minimum voter turnout for bond elections held on days other than general elections. Specifically, the proposal to issue bonds will not be approved unless the majority of ballots cast are in favor and the total number of ballots cast is at least 25% plus one of the number of qualified electors who voted in the most recent general election. This provision applies only to bond elections held after July 1, 2025.
