Wyoming HB0058 requires the board of land commissioners to notify the board of county commissioners at least 60 days before approving a mineral lease for oil, gas, coal, or other mineral production on state lands or state school lands. The county commissioners are given the opportunity to provide public comment on the proposed lease. This act applies to all leases and lease extensions proposed, issued, and entered into after the effective date of the act. It does not affect any leases entered into before the act's effective date.
