The Wyoming Homestead Opportunity Program allows the sale of state lands for single-family residential use. The Office of State Lands and Investments will identify eligible parcels and develop homestead clusters. Each cluster will contain 300 to 1,000 lots, each 10 acres. The lots will be sold at $1 per acre to eligible purchasers, who must be U.S. citizens residing in Wyoming for at least 12 months. Purchasers cannot own more than 25 acres statewide. The lots cannot be subdivided or used for commercial or multi-family residential purposes.
