Wyoming HB0026 amends the state's motor vehicle laws to require rear-facing child safety restraint systems for children under two years old or until they reach the maximum weight or height limit specified by the restraint system. The bill also specifies that rear-facing infant seats should not be placed in front of an active airbag. It clarifies that children under nine years old must be secured in a child safety restraint system in a seat other than the front seat, except in vehicles with only one row of seats or if all safety belts in the rows of seats behind the front seat are in use by.
