Expands the definition of advance health care directive to include dementia directives in Wyoming.

Wyoming HB0006 amends the Wyoming health care decisions act to expand the definition of advance health care directive to include dementia directives. These directives provide individual instructions for health care decisions to address the gradual cognitive decline of a person diagnosed with dementia. The directives may include directions for care during each stage of the disease and can augment other advance health care directives. The act is effective July 1, 2025.
