Prevents individuals from serving more than three consecutive terms in certain state offices.
Proposes an amendment to the West Virginia Constitution to limit individuals to three consecutive terms in the offices of Secretary of State, State Auditor, State Treasurer, Attorney General, or Commissioner of Agriculture, starting from terms beginning after January 1, 2029. This amendment does not affect the eligibility of individuals to serve as Governor. The amendment will be submitted to voters for ratification in the 2026 general election.
