Allows county EMS officers in West Virginia to transfer from the Public Employees Retirement System to the EMS Retirement System.

West Virginia SB774 allows county emergency medical services (EMS) officers to transfer from the Public Employees Retirement System to the EMS Retirement System. Officers can elect to transfer their assets and service credit by August 31, 2026. The transfer is irrevocable, and officers cannot rejoin the Public Employees Retirement System. The Consolidated Public Retirement Board will compute the transfer amount and complete the transfer by March 31, 2027.
