West Virginia SB652 amends the tax distribution rules for high-impact data centers, effective July 1, 2025. The bill specifies that 80% of ad valorem property tax revenues from these data centers should go to the counties where the data centers are located. Additionally, 10% of the revenues are allocated to all counties based on population, and 5% is directed to the Electric Grid Stabilization and Security Fund. The remaining 5% goes to the Personal Income Tax Reduction Fund.
