The bill extends the sunset date of the Alzheimer's Disease and Other Dementia Advisory Council from July 31, 2026, to July 31, 2030. The council, consisting of voting and nonvoting members, examines the needs of individuals with Alzheimer's disease or other dementias, evaluates the capacity of the health care system, and increases the number of health care professionals necessary to treat these populations. The council also improves services and access to care, long-term care, and public awareness of Alzheimer's disease and other dementias. The council terminates on July 31, 2030.
