West Virginia SB567 prohibits charging Hope Scholarship students fees for extracurricular program-related services.

West Virginia SB567 amends the Hope Scholarship Program to prohibit county boards and charter school governing boards from charging fees to Hope Scholarship students for extracurricular program-related services. The bill also modifies the academic achievement requirement for students choosing an individualized instructional program. Hope Scholarship funds can only be used for educational purposes and cannot be refunded or shared with parents or students.
