Establishes insurance provisions requiring coverage for annual breast cancer screenings.

West Virginia SB519 mandates insurance coverage for annual breast cancer screenings, including mammograms for women aged 40 and over, and for younger women with a family history of breast cancer or other risk factors. The bill also requires coverage for comprehensive ultrasound screenings for women with dense breast tissue or a high risk of breast cancer. These provisions apply to all insurance policies issued in the state on and after January 1, 2026.
