Establishes the Residential Treatment Capacity Expansion Fund to expand in-state residential treatment for children.
The bill creates the Residential Treatment Capacity Expansion Fund within the Department of Human Services to support the recruitment, development, and expansion of in-state residential treatment providers for children. The fund will be used for provider incentives, facility development, transition services for children placed out of state, and other activities that increase West Virginia’s residential treatment capacity. The fund will be financed by appropriations, recoveries or reimbursements, income from investments, and other sums from any source.
