Creating Bring Them Home Fund

Establishes the Bring Them Home Fund to expand in-state child welfare treatment facilities in West Virginia.

The bill creates the Bring Them Home Fund, administered by the Secretary of the Department of Human Services, to expand in-state child welfare treatment facilities. The fund will receive appropriations, grants, and other contributions. It can be used for renovating state properties to expand high-acuity psychiatric, neurodevelopmental, and trauma services for children in West Virginia. The Secretary can enter into agreements with private entities to manage in-state facilities. The fund will not revert to the General Revenue Fund at the end of the fiscal year.
