Allows West Virginia State Police retirement system members to use accrued leave for additional retirement credit.
The bill amends the West Virginia State Police Retirement System to allow members to use accrued annual or sick leave days to acquire additional credited service toward retirement. For members entering the system after July 1, 2015, each leave day is equivalent to eight hours and can be applied on a basis of one day's credit for each leave day. The credited service will not exceed 12 months per year.
