Reduces statute of limitations on actions to recover on written and oral contracts in West Virginia.

West Virginia SB27 reduces the statute of limitations on actions to recover on written and oral contracts, bonds of fiduciaries and personal representatives, and recognizances. The bill shortens the time within which to bring actions on written contracts from ten years to five years, and on oral contracts from five years to two years. It also reduces the time for actions on bonds of fiduciaries and personal representatives from ten years to five years. The changes apply to actions that accrue after the bill's enactment.
