West Virginia SB267 authorizes the Department of Health to create rules for lead abatement licensing. The bill amends Section 64-5-1 of the West Virginia Code to allow the Department of Health to promulgate a legislative rule relating to lead abatement licensing. This rule was filed in the State Register on July 25, 2025, and modified to meet the objections of the Legislative Rule-Making Review Committee, then refiled on October 17, 2025.
