Authorizes the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection to create rules for emission standards of hazardous air pollutants.

West Virginia SB261 authorizes the Department of Environmental Protection to promulgate a legislative rule relating to emission standards for hazardous air pollutants. This rule, filed in the State Register on July 23, 2025, is authorized under the authority of Section 22-5-4 of the West Virginia Code. The bill amends Section 64-3-1 to allow the Department to establish these emission standards.
