West Virginia SB1079 amends the state code to require the Public Employees Insurance Agency to accept premium payments from political subdivisions by credit card or state purchasing card. The bill also mandates the selection of a charge card vendor through competitive bid and authorizes the use of state purchasing cards for official state purchases only. The Purchasing Division of the Department of Administration will contract with the successful bidder for the provision of state purchasing cards.
