The bill creates TEAM-WV, a nonprofit corporation to promote economic development, job creation, job retention, job training, and business recruitment in West Virginia. The Governor will form the corporation with a board of directors consisting of nine voting members, including three ex-officio members from West Virginia University, Marshall University, and the West Virginia Investment Management Board. The board will appoint a chief executive officer to manage the corporation. TEAM-WV will assist the Department of Commerce and can enter into contracts for services.
