Clarifies that the Office of Broadband will coordinate with the Consumer Protection Division on certain consumer complaints regarding broadband.

The bill amends the duties of the Office of Broadband to include coordinating with the Consumer Protection Division of the Attorney General’s Office on consumer complaints about broadband service. It allows the Office to report complaints to the Federal Communications Commission. The Office of Broadband is also authorized to gather data on broadband services, including speeds and prices, and report this data to the Legislature.
