Adds representation of the West Virginia Fire Marshal’s office to the Law-Enforcement Professional Standards subcommittee.

This bill amends the Code of West Virginia to include the Office of the State Fire Marshal as a member of the Law-Enforcement Professional Standards subcommittee. This subcommittee reviews and administers programs for the qualification, training, and certification of law-enforcement officers in the state. The subcommittee also considers applications by law-enforcement officers whose certification is inactive due to separation from employment. The Fire Marshal’s office will join other representatives from various law-enforcement and public sectors on the subcommittee.
