Establishes a fund to compensate individuals adversely affected by actions of the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals' Judicial Investigative.

The bill creates the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals Victim's Fund to provide compensation to those negatively impacted by actions or inactions of the Judicial Investigative Committee or any division under the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals. Individuals can apply to the fund's supervisory authority for financial relief, detailing their claim. The authority decides the validity of the claim and processes payment if approved. Claims can be filed up to 10 years retroactively from July 1, 2026. The supervisory authority can deny claims, but applicants have the right to appeal.
