West Virginia HB4540 amends the state code to require written notice of all fees owed and impending license suspension prior to suspending a driver's license for failure to respond or appear in court when charged with a motor vehicle violation. The bill specifies that the notice must be mailed at least 30 days before suspension and must clearly state the fine owed to the magistrate court or municipal court and the administrative fee owed to the division. The issuing court must forward the collected administrative fee to the division.
