West Virginia HB4536 allows students who enroll and successfully complete a driver’s education course to waive DMV testing for a license. The Division of Motor Vehicles will accept a "High School Driver Education Certificate" issued by certified teachers in lieu of written and road skill examinations for six months. Full testing is required if the certificate expires. All applicable fees must be paid to the DMV upon acceptance of a valid certificate.
