Exempts salaries of first responders from state income tax.
Exempts from state income tax the salaries of law-enforcement officers, firefighters, emergency medical services personnel, and correctional officers. First responders include those defined in various sections of the West Virginia Code. This bill adds a new section to the personal income tax article of the Code of West Virginia.
