Disaster Recovery Acceleration Act allows individuals to rebuild homes up to 125% of original size without new development standards or extensive.

The Disaster Recovery Acceleration Act allows individuals to rebuild their homes up to 125% of the original square footage following a natural disaster. This act exempts such rebuilding from new development standards or extensive environmental reviews. Existing home or building codes must still be followed, and any grandfathered rules or regulations of a city, municipality, or county will continue during the disaster restoration.
