This bill amends the Code of West Virginia to allow landowners or lessees to hire third-party hunters to kill deer or other wildlife causing damage to cultivated crops, trees, commercial nurseries, and homeowners' gardens. The landowner must report the damage to the natural resources police officer or biologist, who will investigate and issue a permit if the damage is substantial. The hired hunters must follow the same weapon restrictions as regular hunters.
