This bill amends the Code of West Virginia to clarify what constitutes trespassing at institutions of higher education. It defines "residence hall" and "student facility" and specifies who is authorized to be present. It allows authorized persons to be asked to leave if they interfere with operations. Unauthorized persons can also be asked to leave. Remaining after being asked to leave is a misdemeanor, punishable by a fine. The bill also allows courts to prohibit repeat offenders from being on institution property.
