Establishes the West Virginia TEACH Scholarship Program to support child-care workers in obtaining higher education.

The West Virginia TEACH Scholarship Program, administered by the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission, aims to enhance the quality of child-care by supporting workers in obtaining higher education. The program provides scholarships to eligible individuals employed at least 20 hours per week at an eligible child-care facility, allowing them to pursue an associate degree or bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. Scholarships cover tuition costs, less other state and federal scholarships.
