Exempts former foster care providers from adult family home licensure if they meet certain criteria.
This bill exempts former foster care providers from adult family home licensure if they have had an active license for at least three years and provided personal care services to former foster youth for at least three years. The exemption applies if the provider only cares for former foster youth, has no founded or substantiated findings by child protective services, and is not subject to a pending adverse licensing action. The Department of Social and Health Services may establish rules to implement this exemption.
