This bill expands access to the early childhood education and assistance program for military families in Washington. It allows enrollment for children from military households with income levels above 36 percent of the state median income but at or below the maximum household income for working connections child care eligibility. Children from military households with income levels above 50 percent of the state median income but at or below the maximum household income for working connections child care eligibility are also eligible if they meet certain risk factors.
