Increases the arbitration fee for new motor vehicles in Washington from three to six dollars.

This bill updates the arbitration fee for new motor vehicles in Washington from three to six dollars. The fee is collected by either the new motor vehicle dealer or vehicle lessor from the consumer upon execution of a retail sale or lease agreement. The fee is forwarded to the Department of Licensing at the time of title application for deposit in the new motor vehicle arbitration account. Moneys in the account are used for the purposes of this chapter, subject to appropriation.
