This bill extends preferential tax rates for manufacturers and wholesalers of solar energy material and parts in Washington to maintain and grow jobs in the solar silicon industry. It also extends sales tax exemptions for computer data centers, including those that have been refurbished, and requires qualifying businesses and tenants to report on employment and sustainability practices. Exemptions for both industries expire July 1, 2048.
