The bill amends the requirements for electrical inspectors in Washington to include individuals with four years of experience as a certified outside journeyperson lineworker, a journey level electrician certificate with eight years of experience, or four years of experience as a journey level electrician. Inspectors must maintain certification as an outside journeyperson electrical inspector. The director of labor and industries is responsible for appointing inspectors and providing final interpretations of state electrical standards.
